Directions
Manchow soup is a soup popular in Indain Chinese Cuisine due to its easy preparation and hot spicy taste. It is available in many restaurants and street food carts alike. Although the soup is named after Manchuria it does not resemble any that is normally found in the cuisines of the region. The origin of Manchow soup is Meghalaya.

Heat oil in a pan. Stir-fry the ginger, garlic, coriander and green chillies for a minute. Add all the vegetables and black peppercorns. Stir-fry for 2 more minutes. Add soy sauce, salt and water. Bring to a boil and reduce flame to low. Add the corn flour paste and stir till the soup starts to thicken. Remove from flame. Garnish with spring onions and some crispy noodles (if available). Serve. |
