700 grams Mutton
400 grams Rice
2 Onion chopped
1 Tomato chopped
3 Potatoes
2tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
2-3 Green chilly slit
1/2 cup Curd
1cup Oil
1tbsp Red chilli powder
1tbsp Garam masala powder
1tsp Turmeric powder
3-4 Bay leaves
4 Cardamom
2 sticks Cinnamon
As per taste Salt
Coriander leaves
Fried onion

    Memoni Akhni is one of the most common and loved rice recipe of the Memon community. If perfectly cooked with exact ingredients then it is going to blow your mind. Combining this special Memoni Akhni with Kheer will add stars to your table.

    Heat oil in a cooker and put all the garam masalas in it and let them crackle.

    Then add chopped onion and fry till its pink.

    ow add ginger garlic paste and fry for sometime.

    Then add mutton pieces and fry till mutton is cooked and add all the powder masalas, chopped tomatoes, salt and mix well.

    Add 1 cup of water. Mix properly and close the cooker lid.

    After 4-5 whistle turn off the gas. Mutton should be tender.

    Now pour mutton in a pan and add curd, potatoes, green chillies and coriander leaves and cook for a 2 minutes.

    Add 2 cups of water and salt. Once water starts boiling add rice and cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes on high flame.

    Then cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
