Ingredients

500g Mutton/Chicken
500g Curd
2 Onion Paste
1tsp Garlic Paste
1tsp Ginger Paste
1/2 Coconut (Medium)
10-12 Cashews
6-8 Green Chillies
3tsp Poppy seeds (khus khus)
3 tsp Sesame seeds (white til)
3 tbsp Roasted Bengal Gram
4-6 Pepper
4-6 Cloves
1-2 Cinnamon Sticks (2 Inch)
Curry leaves
4tbsp Oil
Salt
1 tsp Ginger and Garlic Chopped
For Tadka
2 tbsp Oil
Curry leaves
2 Red Dried Chillies

Amazing White Chicken/Mutton Curry rich on spices and flavour.

For The Curry (Part 1)

- In a cooker heat oil and add onion.
- Cook till onion is light brown.
- Then add mutton/chicken, ginger and garlic paste.
- Add Cloves, pepper and cinnamon stick, salt and water.
- Close the cooker lid.
- Pressure cook mutton till 4 whistles and chicken 1 whistle or cook till they are tender.
- Keep the water (Stew).

For the Curry (Part 2)

- Grind coconut, chillies, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, cashews and roasted bengal gram to a smooth paste.
- In another bowl of grinder, grind curd then add grinded paste.
- And grind for a minute, so that everything is mixed well.
- In a pan heat oil and add curry leaves and chopped ginger garlic and cook till it's turned light brown.
- Pour the grinded paste and cook till the raw smell of gravy is gone.
- Then and mutton/ chicken in it and stew, cook till gravy is bit thick.

Tadka

- Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves and Chiilies in it.
- Let them crackle.
- Pour the tadka on curry
- Mutton/chicken curry is ready. Serve it with peas rice.
