Check out the recipe for Homemade Tahini. Tahini (Tehina, Tahina, Ardeh) is a condiment made from sesame seeds and is a staple in many cuisines, especially in the Mediterranean and Middle East. It is served by itself (as a dip) or as a major ingredient in hummus, baba ghanoush, and halwa. Tahini made from raw sesame seeds is lower in fat than tahini made from roasted seeds.
